Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and XCELL TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED ("we", "us"), which runs US MoverLedger. By using the site, its tools, alerts or embeddable widget, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
The site is meant for adults. If you are under 18, use it with a parent or guardian.
What US MoverLedger is
US MoverLedger turns public records about household goods movers and brokers into one plain-English page per company. It is:
- Information, not advice. Nothing here is legal, financial or insurance advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to hire or avoid a company.
- Not a moving company or broker. We don't arrange moves, take bookings or pass your details to movers.
- Not a consumer reporting agency. Our pages describe businesses. They are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and you may not use them as one (see "Using the site").
- Not a government website. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the U.S. Department of Transportation or any state agency.
Where the information comes from
Company facts come from FMCSA's public datasets and, where we say so, from reviewed customer reports. Each profile shows its sources and how current they are. Records can be incomplete, out of date or wrong at the source: for example, some authority and insurance facts date from FMCSA's last full licensing file of May 14, 2026, and the profile says so. Signals describe what the records show under rules we publish on our methodology page; they are not findings of wrongdoing.
Before you pay a deposit or sign, confirm the company's authority and insurance on FMCSA's own site, and get the name and USDOT number of the company that will actually move you in writing.
Using the site
You may use the site for your own purposes, share links to it and quote our data reports with a link to the source. You may not:
- use any information from the site to decide a person's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act;
- use names or other details of people that appear in public records to harass, contact for marketing, or build profiles of individuals;
- copy the site or its data in bulk, or access it with automated tools at a volume that burdens the service or ignores our robots.txt, to build a competing product;
- get around rate limits, CAPTCHA checks or other security measures, or probe, scan or attack the site;
- pretend to be someone else, including a moving company you don't work for, or submit false reports or requests;
- use the site in any way that breaks the law.
We may limit or block access that breaks these rules.
Customer reports you send
You can tell us what happened with a moving company. When you send a report, you confirm that:
- you were the customer, or arranged the move for the customer;
- what you say is true to the best of your knowledge, and you are describing your own experience;
- you are not sending other people's personal details, threats, abuse, or content you don't have the right to share.
We review every report before anything appears on the site. We may decline to publish it, publish a summary with personal details removed, publish only the structured facts (such as the type of problem and the price difference), or remove it later. Attached documents are used only for our review and are never published.
You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide and perpetual license to use, edit, summarize and publish the report and its structured facts on US MoverLedger and in our data reports, without your name. We may disclose a report if the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order.
For moving companies
- Claiming a profile. Authorized staff can claim a company's profile and verify it with a code sent to the email on the company's FMCSA registration.
- Corrections. If something we show is wrong, send it with evidence through the claim or correct form. We aim to reply within 7 days and record every correction in our public corrections log. If the error is in FMCSA's own record, it has to be fixed with FMCSA first (for example by updating form MCS-150); our profile follows on the next update.
- Replies. A company can send a public reply to a customer report about it. Replies are reviewed like reports and shown next to the report they answer.
- No paid changes. Signals follow published rules. No company can pay us, or offer anything of value, to remove, hide, soften or delay a signal, a report or a fact. We don't sell "verified" badges or better positions in lists.
- No retaliation. You may not threaten, penalize or seek to identify a customer because of a report. Contract terms that restrict honest reviews may be void under the Consumer Review Fairness Act.
Alerts and email
"Watch this mover" alerts tell you when FMCSA's record for a company changes. They depend on FMCSA publishing the change and may arrive late or not at all, so don't rely on them as your only check. Every alert email includes a link to stop alerts. We only send email you asked for: confirmations, alerts and verification codes.
Embeddable widget
You may place our "Verify your mover" widget on your website for free using the code we provide. Please don't change how it works or remove the link to US MoverLedger that comes with it. We may change, limit or withdraw the widget at any time.
Links, partners and ads
The site links to other websites, including FMCSA and state agencies. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or practices. Some links are partner links that may earn us a commission; they are always labelled. How we make money, and the rules that keep it separate from company profiles, are set out in our disclosures.
Our content and the public records
The site's design, text, guides, data reports and the way we organize and present the records are ours or our licensors'. We claim no ownership of the underlying government records. You may quote our data reports and share short excerpts with a link to the source page.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, send a notice to service@oxcellion.com with: your contact details; the work you believe is infringed; the URL of the material; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act requires.
Disclaimers
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or current, or that any company's record is complete or correct.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost money, property or data, arising from your use of the site or from any company you choose or avoid. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law while using the site, including by submitting a report that is false or that you had no right to share, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from any resulting claim, to the extent the law allows.
Changes
We may change the site or these terms. If we make a material change to the terms, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, note it on the site. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
