How the site is paid for
The site is free and needs no account. XCELL TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED runs it and may cover its costs in two ways, each kept away from company records:
- Advertising. We don't show ads at the moment. If we start, ads will be marked "Advertisement" and will never appear next to a company's facts, signals or reports, or on forms.
- Partner links. We have no partner links at the moment. See below for how they work.
Partner links
We may recommend services that help with a move, such as portable containers, truck rental or packing supplies. If you buy through one of these links, the partner may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.
- Partner links are always labelled "Partner ยท we may earn a commission", right next to the link.
- They appear only in guides and "next steps" boxes, never inside a company's facts, signals or reports.
- We don't take referral fees from moving companies or brokers, and we don't send your details to anyone who sells moving leads.
This follows the Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and affiliate links.
What money can never change
- A company's facts, signals, customer reports or replies.
- The order in which companies appear in search results, state lists or brand pages.
- Which companies are flagged, linked or included in our data reports.
- Our methodology. Signal rules are published on the methodology page and apply to every company the same way.
We don't sell "verified" badges, featured placements or removals. If we ever accept sponsorship of a data report, the sponsor will be named on it and will have no say in its content.
Moving companies
We have no business relationship with the moving companies and brokers we list. A company can claim its profile, ask for corrections with evidence and reply to customer reports, all for free. None of these change the published facts unless the evidence shows they were wrong.
Government agencies
US MoverLedger is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the U.S. Department of Transportation or any state agency. We use their public data and link to their official records.
Mistakes and corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and list the change in our public corrections log. Questions about these disclosures: service@oxcellion.com.
